About Kit Sorted

Kit Sorted helps Australian tradies and home-service businesses choose job, phone and admin software. Every pick shows AUD pricing, how we checked it, and when it's not a good fit.

Why it exists

Software for trade businesses is sold hard, priced in different ways, and often compared by people who earn more when you pick a particular product. We label every link that can earn us money, and our picks are the same either way. We want owners to be able to see the price in AUD, what it connects to, how we know, and when to walk away.

What a Buy Brief is

A Buy Brief answers one buying question in plain English. For the situations it covers, it gives our pick, or a shortlist where the evidence is thinner, shows how we checked it, and tells you when to skip it.

Who it's for

Right now, Australian tradies and home-service businesses only: electricians, plumbers, builders, HVAC, cleaners, pest controllers, landscapers and similar businesses, from sole traders to crews of about 20.

Who runs it

Kit Sorted is owned by AI Architecture Lab Pty Ltd, which also provides software setup services to businesses. Research and drafting are assisted by AI agents working to the rules on our How we check page, and a person is responsible for what we publish. Dennis reads every message. AI tools may assist with sorting and drafting, and a person reviews every reply before it is sent. AI tools don't send replies on their own. See the disclosure for how the site makes money.
